It's spring, and time for
The Steak Ride
Bicycling on the prairie

This ain't trainin' or racin', just an excuse to get on your bike for a fun ride across the prairie to a great steak dinner in Galatia, Kansas.

Come on a group fun ride with us across the Kansas Prairie!

Road bikes will leave Golden Belt Bicycle Company at 1111 N Main, Great Bend .

The ride will start at 2:00 p.m. and will be a 28-mile ride on pavement.

Mountain bikes will leave the Phillips farm (1 st house east of Heizer on the North side of 96 Hwy) at 2:00 p.m. for a 19-mile ride on dirt roads.

Both groups will meet in Galatia, KS for a delicious rib eye steak dinner prepared by Back Roads Grill.

This is intended as a family outing. We realize that some riders may have family members that are not in to 20-mile bike rides. That's OK. They can meet us there. In fact, we would like their help ferrying riders back. After dinner, the hard core riders can ride back if
they like.

Cost for the dinner is $15.00 per person.
