This ain't trainin' or racin', just an excuse to get on your bike for a fun ride across the prairie to a great steak dinner in Galatia, Kansas.

Road bikes will leave Golden Belt Bicycle Company at 2:00 pm for a 28-mile ride on pavement. Mountain bikes will leave the Phillips farm (first house east of Hiezer on the north side of 96 Hwy) at 2:00pm for a 19-mile ride on both improved and unimproved dirt roads with a little singletrack for good measure.

Both groups will meet at 5:00pm for a delicious 12oz rib eye steak dinner with all the trimmings. This year we will be hosted by the Backroads Grill in beautiful downtown Galatia, Kansas.

This is intended as a family outing and we realize that some riders may have family members who aren't into 20-mile bike rides. That's OK. They can meet us there. In fact, we would like their help ferrying riders back. After dinner the hard cores can ride back if they like.

Cost for the dinner is $15.00 per person. Please fill out the registration form and return with payment by April 11, 2005 so we may reserve your steak. If you don't pre-register you won't get to eat. You may, however ride along without the dinner at no charge.
